Modest clothing is preferred, long pants and shirts When you come to the center, please sign in at the front desk. Homework comes before play. For kids without homework try to direct them into other activities. There are plenty of books. If you can sit down with a few kids and read to them that would be invaluable! The room is divided into homework and non-homework areas. Clean up starts at 7:50PM. They all should be out the door at 8:00PM Kids need to know there are rules. It helps them feel safe and if ever any kids needed to feel safe it’s these kids. They will always test to make sure you mean what you say but being firm is important. If you see or hear anything that causes you concern about our kids or the center please contact sarah@rccchicago.org.
