Religious education is very important to the Rohingya. Religion ties them to the culture, and the need for such classes for Rohingya children is great. In this class they learn Arabic, Tajweed (Quran recitation), Hifz (Quran memorization), Salat (prayer), and Adab (behavior/manners). This is a free class for children 5-12 year old. There are 90 children enrolled, 40 girls and 50 boys.
